Our Vision:

Bring people into relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Three words: Coffee, Community, Christ

Our Mission:

We are a healing community where people can connect with God, family and friends.

Our Values:

1.      Bible: We look to the Bible for our foundation and authority.  We believe the Bible is the living word of God and it shapes who are and guides our journey through life. (2 Tim. 3:16 “Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way.”)

2.      Acceptance: We believe everyone has been created in the image of God, and is welcome to participate.  God has blessed each one of us with gifts to be used for His glory. (1 Pet. 2:9-10 “But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.”)

3.      Healing: We believe that true healing comes from the one who created us: God. This healing is spiritual, physical, emotional, and relational. (James 5:13-16 “Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.  Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.   And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”)

4.      Reconciliation: God’s deepest desire is for us to be reconciled to Him and live out His love with our family, friends and community. (1Jn 4:7-8 “My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.”)

5.      Wholeness: We believe to be whole is to submit ourselves to the authority of Jesus Christ; to follow and live His teachings with honesty, transparency and integrity. (Rom. 12:1 “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”

6.      Stewardship: We believe that all resources we have come from God and we generously invest them back into His Kingdom. (1 Chron. 29:14 “But me—who am I, and who are these my people, that we should presume to be giving something to you? Everything comes from you; all we’re doing is giving back what we’ve been given from your generous hand.”)

7.      Celebration: God desires us to be filled with joy and take pleasure in His plan for our lives.  We believe that when our hearts are not glad sin begins to look good.  For that reason we will celebrate the relationship we have with Jesus Christ! (Psalm 100  Message. “On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.  Know this: God is God, and God, God.  He made us; we didn’t make him.  We’re his people, his well-tended sheep. Enter with the password: “Thank you!”  Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.  For God is sheer beauty, all generous in love, loyal always and ever.”)
